While we have our preferred travel insurance providers we have been working with for years, you are welcome to purchase travel insurance through whichever insurance company you prefer.

We’ve chosen a sailing catamaran because it’s a much more sustainable way to explore — powered by the wind, not just fuel. Plus, living aboard for a week naturally encourages mindful use of water and power, reminding us how simple and connected life at sea can be.

June and July are actually one of the best times to visit the Bahamas — the islands are quieter, the water is warm and crystal clear, and hurricane season hasn’t really ramped up yet. Yes, it’s warm, but that just means we’ll be spending plenty of time where we want to be anyway — in the water!

🌴 Essentials

  •  Passport + travel documents
  •  Copies of ID, travel insurance, and emergency contacts
  •  Credit/debit cards + small amount of cash (USD works in the Bahamas)

  •  1–2 lightweight long-sleeve shirts (for sun protection or cool evenings)
  •  1 pair of lightweight pants or linen trousers

đź’ˇ Pro Tip:
Soft-sided luggage or duffel bags are best — hard suitcases are difficult to store on boats.

Yes! We’ll have opportunities to practice yoga on deck or even on stand-up paddleboards. If you’ve never tried SUP yoga before, it’s super fun — and the worst that can happen is you end up in the water!

There are no required vaccinations or visas for travel to this destination at this time.

Please note: A minimum number of travelers is required. It is recommended that you do not purchase your flights until we have reached our minimum group number.
